Piriton Syrup

Symptomatic control of allergic conditions and chickenpox itch. Piriton Syrup is used to treat the allergic symptoms (runny and itchy nose, with or without stuffiness) caused by hayfever and other allergies e.g. pet and house dust mite allergies. It relieves Itchiness, redness, swelling. Tenderness and irritation.

Dose: Adults: Two 5ml spoofuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours. Maximum 24mg (60ml) in 24 hours. Children: 6-12 years 5ml every 4-6 hours maximum 12mg (30ml) in 24 hours. 2-5years 2.5ml every 4-6 hours. Maximum 6mg (15ml) in 24 hours. 1-2 years 2.5ml twice a day.

Who Can Use It: Adults and children from 1 year

Caution: Not receommended for children under 1 year.

Possible Side Effects: The most common side effect is drowsiness, please see pack for further side effects.
