Gavilast P Tablets

For the symptomatic relief of heartburn, hyperacidity and acid indigestion. Prevention of acid indigestion, hyperacidity and heartburn associated with food and drink.

Dose: Adults and children over 16 years: Swallow 1 tablet whole, with water, as soon as symptoms occur. If symptoms persist for more than 1 hour or return, 1 more may be taken. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours

Who Can Use It: Adults and children over 16 yrs.

Caution: Treatment with histamine H2 antagonists may mask symptoms associated with stomach carcinoma and delay diagnosis. Contains E110 (Sunset yellow), which can cause allergic reactions including asthma. Allergy is more common in people allergic to aspirin. Ranitidine is excreted through the kidney so plasma levels are increased in severe renal impairment. Patients on NSAIDs, especially the elderly, should consult their doctor first. Clinical reports of acute intermittent porphyria are rare.

Possible Side Effects: Contains E110 (Sunset yellow), which can cause allergic reactions including asthma.
