Clotrimazole Cream

Clotrimazole cream is used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm and fungal nappy rash. It can also be used to treat fungal infections in the breast fold and infections associated with thrush such as irritation of the vagina (candidal vaginitis) or the end of the penis (candidal balanitis).

Dose: Apply the cream to the affected area of skin two or three times daily for at least two weeks. In some cases, however, Clotrimazole cream needs to be applied for more than four weeks.

Who Can Use It: Adults and children.

Caution: Clotrimazole cream should not be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding without consulting a doctor.

Possible Side Effects: Slight burning or irritation may occur if you are sensitive to the ingredients.
